A Million Pieces
44
Scattered and shattered broken in two
Pieces of me thrown up in the air
Battered and splattered, crowds only stare
Millions of pieces, my body lay bare
Broken, a token of my vehemence
Cracks in the mirror fracture my face
Choking, blood soaking, one taking my place
running, not stopping, resuming the chase
Tire you liar, your time may up
Will catch you and get you, taking you down
A pyre so dire will burn to the ground
Then you will know what comes, goes 'round.

This is a worthwhile piece of poetry... clever verse structure with the tight rhyming in the third lines.
Well done.
